On May 11, Free Geek came out for the first-ever SHGODH community hackathon in Vancouver, hosted by Social Text and Bryght.

Locals and visiting hacker dignitaries got together to hang out, develop code, hack on hardware, eat pizza and drink beer.

A small legion of Free Geekers attended, spending their time hacking and yakking. Safety glasses were worn at all times by at least one volunteer.
